A little information about myself...

My name is Amanda Elcock and I am a senior at New York University. I've been drawing ever since I was little and I've been seriously painting for the past four years. I'm a very creative person and drawing and painting are two of my favorite means of channeling my creativity. As you can see my artwork is largely influenced by Japanese Anime but I am not interested in meerly copying the Anime style but rather building my own style off it...that is what I am striving towards at the moment with my art. I am hoping to branch off from what I already know until I find my own personal style within the Anime genre. I also hope to make doing commissioned paintings a large part of my life.
